Lucky Ricky
Long long time ago, there were three mice living by the cheese shop, Nicky, Micky and Ricky.
One day, Nicky said, "You see, the cheese shop has a lot of cheese. We can go there and steal some cheese!" Micky said, "Your idea is good. Let's go, Ricky!" But Ricky said, "I don't want to go with you because I'm scared of the owners. If they see me, they will kill me...!" "Ha ha ha ha!' Nicky and Micky started to laugh hard. "You don't want to go with us? OK, Micky, let's go!"
"Hah! There isn't any owner, go!" Nicky said. "OK!" Micky said. "Wow! Here is a lot of cheese. Let's steal!" "Yeah! We really have a lot of cheese, Nicky!" "Let's go home!" Nicky said. As they were going home, a cat ran toward them. "Ah! It's a cat. Run!" They threw away the cheese and ran fast. They almost forgot the cheese. Just ran.
Next morning, Ricky went out to find Nicky and Micky, but he couldn't see any mouse. Suddenly, he saw a lot of cheese on the ground. So he's very happy and took the cheese home.

The Surprise Garden
We're planting the seeds for a surprise garden. Can you guess what we will grow? We don't know. It's a surprise!
First we use our trowel and rake to loosen the soil. Mom has given us each a handful of all kinds of seeds. Look at all the different shapes and sizes! We poke the seeds into the soil, one by one. We paint some sticks in different colors to mark the different kinds of seeds. Then we water the seeds and wait for our surprise garden to grow. Soon, the seeds sprout into green shoots. We water the plants, and the sun warms them. Our garden gorws and grows! On some plants, flowers bloom. Before long, the petals fall off. Surprise! We see spinach and lettuce. And what is gorwing here? Surprise! We see broccli and coullifower. Is anything growing here? Surprise! We find carrots and radishes. They are growing under the ground. Here is the longest plant in our garden. Flowers bloom on this plant, too. Surprise! We find a big watermelon. Here is the tallest plant in our garden. Surprise! It's a sunflower, and it is full of tasty seeds.
All summer long, the food in our surprise garden ripens. We like to pick the food..., and eat it, too! Surprise! We're having a garden party!

《Peaks and Valleys》
Peaks and valleys are connected. The errors you make in today's good times create tomorrow's bad times. And the wise things you do in today's bad times create tomorrow's good times.

還記得《誰搬走了我的乳酪?》(Who Moved My Cheese?)

Timmy,
